Crew 01 starts 1 November 2026 · 12 seats

Eight weeks from now, you will have built the system companies hire GTM engineers to run.

A cohort-based GTM engineering coaching programme. Twelve live sessions, twelve people, one system you build yourself and keep.

Where it takes you

Four doors, one system

Pick yours on the application. The coaching gets shaped around it.

01
Start your own agency

A repeatable, documented build you can sell as a service.

02
Get hired as a GTM engineer

A working system you can defend in an interview, and certification to go with it.

03
Build pipeline where you work

The engine built on your employer's real ICP, and owned by you afterwards.

04
Build pipeline for your startup

Founders build on live pipeline from Session 01, so the eight weeks produce meetings.

Partners

Backed by the platforms you build on

Five tools partner the programme. Every seat gets full access for the eight weeks, so the time goes into building instead of buying.

Partnerships are with the companies, not with individuals. See the full stack.

Who it is for

Which one is you?

Five starting points. Pick the closest and see what changes.

Stop working a list someone else built

SDRBDRAESales development lead
Where you are now

You send sequences handed to you and watch reply rates slide. When the SDR line gets reviewed, nothing about the work is hard to replace.

Eight weeks later

You own the signals, the scoring and the reason each account gets touched this week. You build what the team sends instead of sending it.

Add the half of the stack nobody handed you

RevOpsMarketing opsSales opsGrowth
Where you are now

You run the CRM, the routing and the reporting. Signal sourcing, enrichment economics and the agent layer have never been yours to own.

Eight weeks later

You design the motion rather than maintain it, on a data layer you built and can cost down to the individual valid contact.

Build the engine before you hire someone to run it

FounderCo-founderFirst GTM hire
Where you are now

You need meetings before a sales hire can be justified. An SDR asked to invent a motion from nothing usually burns a year and a domain first.

Eight weeks later

A working system on your real pipeline, built by you, that a first hire can step into. You know exactly what it costs to run.

Sell a system, not your calendar

Agency ownerConsultantFreelancerFractional GTM
Where you are now

The outbound work lives in your head. That caps what you can charge, and nothing keeps running the week you step away from it.

Eight weeks later

You build, document and hand over a client system with a field-mapping spec and a runbook. A retainer, not a dependency.

No title yet? That is a starting point, not a problem

Recent graduateCustomer successSupportMarketingCareer switcherNo title yet
Where you are now

Session 01 begins at buying a domain and assumes you have never authenticated a mailbox, built a Clay table or opened a command line.

Eight weeks later

A documented system and a recorded walkthrough of it. In GTM engineering what you built outweighs what is on your CV.

Twelve seats, and we read every application. What gets selected for is whether you will do the work.

What a Crew is

Coaching, run as a cohort

Not a course you watch alone. Twelve people start together, build in the same rooms, and finish together. We call each intake a Crew.

Small on purpose

Twelve seats, so every build is watched, every assignment gets reviewed, and nobody hides.

You build, nobody demos at you

20 minutes of concept, 70 minutes building in your own workspace alongside the coach, 30 minutes of review.

Crew 01, then Crew 02

Intakes are numbered, not dated. You are in Crew 01 permanently, and the channel stays open.

The role

What is a GTM engineer?

The person who builds and runs the system that produces pipeline, rather than working the pipeline by hand. They define the ICP as testable filters, source accounts from live buying signals, enrich and verify the data, score and segment it, sync it to the CRM, and launch campaigns off it.

What does a GTM engineer do day to day?

Writes and maintains the ICP, configures signal monitors, builds enrichment waterfalls and measures their cost per valid contact, keeps dynamic segments and CRM syncs running, ships automations through MCP and the command line, and reads campaign data to decide what changes next.

Why is the role emerging now?

Three things arrived together: buying signals became available through APIs, enrichment got cheap enough to run at scale, and AI agents made research and personalisation possible without a person doing each row. One operator can now run what used to take a team.

Is GTM engineering a good career path?

It is one of the few go-to-market roles where a portfolio outweighs a CV, and demand currently runs ahead of supply. The work also transfers: the same system thinking applies at an agency, inside a company, or in your own business.

Where does this programme fit?

It is the build. Twelve coached sessions take you from an empty workspace to a live, measured system, which is the portfolio piece the role is hired on.

The systems coached in every session are the same ones I build for paying clients.

Built and ran a $6.12M quarterly ABM pipeline engine at an enterprise SaaS company, as the sole Clay operator.

Trained 70 BDRs to work with AI and Clay, and migrated the team onto new sending infrastructure.

Holds all four Clay certifications. ThynkGrowth is a Clay Solutions Partner.

Questions

Before you apply

What is a GTM engineer?

A GTM engineer builds and runs the system that produces pipeline instead of working the pipeline by hand: defining the ICP as testable filters, sourcing accounts from live buying signals, enriching and verifying the data, scoring and segmenting it, syncing it to the CRM, and launching campaigns off it, with Clay and AI agents doing the repetitive work.

What is GTM engineering?

GTM engineering is the practice of treating go-to-market as a system to be built and measured rather than a set of manual tasks. It combines data engineering habits, automation and AI with go-to-market judgement, so that who gets contacted, and why this week, is decided by live data rather than a static list.

How do I become a GTM engineer?

Build one complete working system rather than collecting tool tutorials. You need sending infrastructure that passes authentication, a written ICP, verified contact data with known cost per valid contact, live signals feeding a score, a CRM sync, and a campaign you have launched and iterated on. This cohort-based coaching programme covers exactly that across twelve sessions.

Is this a course or coaching?

Coaching, run as a cohort. There is no pre-recorded library to work through alone. Twelve live sessions, with the instructor building alongside you in your own workspace and reviewing what you built, plus a channel between sessions.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Everything is built with no-code tools and AI. The command line session in Week 7 is guided step by step, and nobody is expected to arrive knowing what a CLI is.

Do I need an existing list or CRM?

No. You build the list inside the Crew from your ICP upward, and connect a sandbox CRM in Session 08.

How much time does it take each week?

A session runs two hours at most. Twelve sessions across eight weeks means four weeks carry two sessions and four carry one, so two to four hours of live coaching a week, and you know which weeks are the heavy ones from day one. Time spent building between sessions is yours to set.

What do I need before the first session?

A laptop, a few free hours a week, and your own Claude subscription, which is the one tool you bring yourself because the workspace is tied to your account. Everything else in the stack is paid for and arranged for you.

What if I miss a session?

Every session is recorded with written notes, and there is a channel for questions between sessions. Completion needs 10 of the 12 live sessions.

What do I actually have at the end?

A documented system you built yourself, a recorded capstone walkthrough, real campaign data and the decisions it drove, and certification if you clear both gates. You also leave with a mapped path to your own Clay certifications.

Is this the same as hiring ThynkGrowth?

No. Here you build and run the system yourself. ThynkGrowth's managed outbound service is a separate engagement where we run it for you.

What do you promise about results?

We coach you to run the machine. What it produces depends on your market, your offer and how you work it. We are precise about the system and honest about that boundary.
